CompuSource Systems is committed to the highest standards of security and employs the latest technologies in protecting each credit union's data. The security features include the following for each home banking site:
Details
- Each individual member must elect to participate and be authorized by the credit union to access the home banking site. Only then will their data be sent to the credit union website for access.
- File transfers will never expose non-participating members to the Internet, minimizing transmission time and maximizing security.
- The transfer file that CSS creates contains minimal identifying information about the member. Member names, address, social security numbers are not transmitted to the web and can never be accessed.
- Each member's financial account data is protected by a unique password. This password is randomly assigned and is relevant only to the member.
- Member passwords cannot be retrieved by your credit union, CSS or even our internet service provider. If a member forgets his password, your credit union can issue a new one, but cannot look up the old one.
- Members can change passwords at anytime within the home banking section.
- Member account information that is transferred to the web is stored on a dedicated secure database server which responds to validated requests from the web server.
- Data forms (loan apps, etc.) are stored on a dedicated secure web server in segregated password protected directories for retrieval by the credit union using SSL (Secure Socket Layer).
- Full data protection through automated backup and recovery methods are utilized daily.
- All Internet data mechanisms utilize the latest secure technologies.
