Asset-Liability

The Asset-Liability Management (ALM) Module is designed for the simultaneous analysis of assets and liabilities for the purpose of monitoring, and controlling interest rate risk and financial performance.

Details

  • Sensitivity to various balance sheet components can be measured, so that strategies can be identified and implemented to bring interest rate risk to acceptable levels.

  • The system includes model ALM and Investment policies.

  • The ALM Module can perform extensive "What if" calculations. These calculations allow risk, income and key ratio effects of alternate strategies to be examined prior to implementation.

  • Strategies may be tested under different interest rate conditions.

  • The ALM Module analyzes the financial data using complex models to determine statistics and key ratios that measure the projected health and stability of the credit union.

  • The results of the analysis can be presented in several different formats meeting each user's requirements. The user may view summary statistics on screen, print reports or create simple graphs.

  • The ALM Module is a suite of software tools that can help bring a higher level of understanding of the financial impact of interest rates, investments and pricing policies.

  • ALM is an integrated process on which the success and strength of your credit union depends on.
